Trained From Guru Kalamandam Sumati Teacher. Practicing, Teaching, and Choreographing Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Semi-Classical Dance Forms For Last 15 Years. I Am A B.Sc Chemistry Graduate / Post Graduate In Computer Applications, But My Passion Was Dancing, So I Started A Small Class In Goregaon About 15 Years Back. I Also Do Choreography And Stage Programs. I Ensure Students Take Part In Competitions In And Around Mumbai. I Believe Every Child Needs To Learn at least One Indian Classical Dance Form. All Dance Forms Are Unique. The Child Gets Values Inculcated In Our Tradition.

What is Bharatanatyam?
Bharathanatyam is an ancient and most popular classical dance form that originated in Tamil Nadu. It was earlier known as “Desi-attam” and “Sadir-attam”. Performed by Devadasis in the temples and royal court of South India. It involves expressive body movements with elegant hand gestures and brisk footwork and elaborative storytelling by exquisite facial expressions.

It’s once a week offline class.
What is the minimum age to start?
The Ideal Age is 5 years and above
What is the method of teaching?
Child-friendly methods to introduce the little kids to rhythm, music, and moments. Explanation of theory and practical with elaborated notes and pictures. Next better moment.
